Ask readers for their opinions in your articles. It will increase comments on your blog and your readers will not feel that they are reading an article written by robot. Make sure, you get meaningful comments and avoid accepting comments like “Thank you” “Nice post”, as reader can always show their appreciation by sharing your post on social media sites.

There’s always a second (or third) point of view on any issue or idea. Look at the top stories on any of the major news publications. They all polarize people. As Tim Farris wrote, “If you make threaten people’s 3 Bs—behavior, belief or belongings—you get a huge virus-like dispersion.”

Istiak Rayhan Hi Ankit, The last two points are solid gold. Almost every newbie blogger makes these mistakes, especially not monetizing blog from day 1. This point is underrated. No problogger talks about it. I think every blogger should think about monetizing their blog from day 1 rather waiting for traffic. It lets them experiment different monetization ways and find out what works for them. I somehow disagree with the first point. Cause what works for me might not work for you. It’s tough to choose the monetization method just by researching competitors’ sites. Sometimes it requires a/b testings. However, you’ve written an excellent piece. Loved it. Keep it coming.

Hey Belinda, it’s worth doing a proper content strategy to plan your blog content. I’m working away on a content strategy eBook as we speak, which will give you loads of ideas about how to strategically create a content calendar. Would you like me to send you a free copy once it’s done?

I blog because I want to work, I want earn money from home (which until today has not happen, but I focused to do so ) and stay home with my kids. I have lots to learn from you and other bloggers like you that like to help those who are just starting; And to achieve my blog goals. Thanks for the advice Jeni.Twitter: eileenasblog

People love to read passionate writers, even if the topic isn’t necessarily something they have an interest in. Write about what you have passion for. Even if you think no one will read it because it’s a niche topic, write.

Raja kumar Hey, Virat!1 In the webinar, HE says that focus on making the Authority Blog! Well, that should be applicable for the niches like Blogging, Content Marketing, SEO, and some other highly competitive niches. Even though you monetize that kind of Blogs, nothing will happen in its initial days. So, that was a waste of effort. When it comes to some other niches, How to Blogs, health, and Tech niches, you can monetize your Blog right from its very first day to earn some buck. Is something better than nothing, right? So, What Ankit intent is In the industries like Blog, SEO, content Marketing, Email Marketing monetizations like display ads won’t work. You can generate money through your leads. By selling goods and sharing your tools to earn affiliate commission. Both are different; I think you understand the point. Reply

Rather than focusing on your most “successful” topics in terms of page views, find some of the more profitable products or services you offer but haven’t written much about successfully. To find that hole in your content marketing strategy, do the necessary keyword research for the product/service.

28. Automate Everything When I say automate everything, it doesn't mean you should start creating blog posts using automated tools. It means hiring someone to write your posts, seeking SEO help from others, increasing your sales by hiring a marketer, etc. We all know blogging means doing a lot of things from creating content to posting on social media to increase SEO traffic to boosting your sales. If your blog starts generating money, you can spend up to 50% on hiring others to automate your blogging needs. That way you can save a lot of time, and you can use that time to make more money online. That's what every successful marketer do to grow their businesses online. #BloggingTips - Automate Everything! Click to Tweet

It might sound silly at first, but you don’t actually own your blog. It’s hosted on someone else’s web property and they can delete it if they want so. They have done so in the past, and keep doing it in the future. Which means all your hard work on your blog, all those countless hours of writing blog posts might be vanished within seconds. Sad…

Sharon February 18, 2016 at 3:23 am Thank you for these useful tips, Brooke! I’m taking the plunge to work with a designer because I’m spotty with coding. I’m looking forward to taking my blog to the next level. You are one of my prime inspirations to keep on blogging and encouraging people to discover the wonders of travel!

Every so often someone comes at me with a kind of obnoxious attitude. At that point I ask them to explain their perspective in more detail, like I do with polite dissenting responses. The obnoxious person either stops being obnoxious because they can’t back up their stance, or they appreciate having an opportunity express their thoughts more fully, which makes them soften their tone and be less obnoxious as a result.

As I said, for any new blog your content is what will drive people to your blog. Consistency is very important for first few months (And also later), to keep your blog growing. You need to work on creating regular content and blog promotion. Another working tip is to write effective titles, which will make readers to read more.

Shweta Agnihotri First of all, I want to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I am using Reddit and hubpages to drive traffic but unfortunately, I got banned from hubpages. do you have any idea to get unbanned from hubpages.? Reply

So that’s my advice: be ready for the long haul, and be prepared for your blog to take some time and hard work before it begins to take off. Stick with it, think smart and plan out your success strategies carefully. It’s key to achieving your goals – and they won’t happen overnight!

A few days ago, I chatted with one of my super amazing coworkers about design blogging. We shared tips, talked about what motivates us, and discussed the ways blogging has the opportunity to positively impact the design industry.

Ah, such a rarity to find a fellow blogger that throws all the “rules” to the wind and just does what they please. What a refreshing read – and encouraging, too, considering that you’re a prime example of success. Thank you for this, Erin. XO

Once you start blogging, it's easy to forget that blogging isn't just about getting new visitors to your blog. One of the biggest benefits of blogging is that it helps you steadily grow an email list of subscribers you can share your new content with. Each time you publish a new blog post, your subscribers will give you that initial surge of traffic -- which, in turn, will propel those posts' long-term success.

The idea is that if you write about something that’s already in the news or the national consciousness, you know readers will be searching for it. You become more relevant, easier to find based on what they are searching for and can pick up new readers just by putting out a tempting and timely topic.

Pavitra Kumar Hiii, Great suggestions here, Ankit Singla I just visit an excellent blog, I truly appreciate this article. Blogging Tips for New Bloggers very important for the success of a blog. I also saved you as a favorite to check out new things you post… It’s really amazing Major thanks for the blog article. Thanks for sharing

Raja kumar Yep, You are Right Ankit. Gone those days !!! The average Article depth is 1890 words so keep writing lengthier content. And the content should be educatable, not promotional. That will engage the users!! Heads up for the Awesome Article!!!

Even the most experienced bloggers understand the blogosphere is an ever-changing place and no one knows everything there is to know about blogging. Most importantly, bloggers are part of a close-knit community, and the majority of bloggers understand that everyone is a beginner at some point. In fact, bloggers are some of the most approachable and helpful people you can find. Don't be afraid to reach out to fellow bloggers for help. Remember, the success of the blogosphere relies on networking, and most bloggers are always willing to expand their networks regardless of whether you're a beginner blogger or seasoned pro.

I plan to launch my own products such as Ebook and blogging training course, but now working on building authority and online reputation. My email list is growing now and even it isn’t a big, but always grow.

MOHAN NAYAK Hi Ankit, Excellent Article, it will be very helpful to every newbie blogger. I just want to say, even before starting out we have to select the perfect niche and need to plan accordingly. Yes, it Maybe useless to focus on off-page SEO from day one, but we have to implement best on-page SEO strategies from day one like, we have to provide unique, useful and engaging content with a clean structure. Because these techniques can make our visitors happy. Am I right Ankit? Reply

11. Think Twice Before Launching Another Blog "The man who chases two rabbits catches neither." I personally saw so many of my blogging friends launching new blogs when their current blog is just started getting some momentum. What happens when you focus on two blogs at a time? You can’t make profitable neither of them. Unless and until you have build a blog so large that you don’t have to depend on it and once you start getting sales automatically without your interference, starting another blog is a waste of time. This has been proven true in all the successful bloggers journeys from Pat Flynn to Darren Rowse to Neil Patel. They NEVER launched a new blog until their existing blog started growing on automation. So, if you are craving to launch a new blog when your existing blog is just taking off, limit your temptations and focus on automation. Once it’s done, you can launch another blog. That’s how you build successful online business by focusing on ONE thing at a time. #BloggingTips - Think Twice Before Launching Another Blog Click to Tweet

Hi. Thank you for your informative post. I’m still looking for the best (least expensive or free) value to use my own domain (not with wordpress.com or the like in the domain name). If you’ve included this information somewhere, I have missed it. I also didn’t see it on the comparison chart? I’m sure it’s probably there, but maybe worded differently…? Thank you again.
